Queen Vye UV layout Development
This is how I originally did my UV layout, which was time consuming and extremely tedious as I was moving UVs one at a time....
....Once I had spoken to Jordan Buckner about this, he taught me a new method which involved unwrapping UVs, cutting corners edges and sowing edges together which proved a lot fast and more accurate:

Minor Project Rainham Mark Grammar School session
To aid my research for my minor project, I arranged a visit to Rainham Mark Grammar School, and carried out a session with some Year 8 students. The video also contains a discussion on Higher Education, which isn't a part of my Minor Project.

Colour Scheme Designer
I used the Colour Scheme Designer to produce these. The origin of the first two swatches, is the sky in an episode of Scooby Doo. The last swatch, is the contrast colour that was created from the Scooby Doo sky, it will most likely be used to design the Water Tiki Boss Mask.
What am I doing?
I wanted to create a Maths game, set in Hawaii, for the iPad. However, stylistically, I had no idea where I was taking it. Until now! After feedback from Tutor Phil, I've been reassured that my 'Spiky Water Level' concept, is stylistically the strongest of my designs. Now I had to identify what influences went into this design experiment. I've come to the conclusion that it is combination of German expressionistic, supernatural, gamified, horror.

New title screens and further revised concept art
So after receiving feedback from Tutor Phil, I decided to revisit my concept and title screens so as to produce a more smooth, saturated look that is coherent with the fun, upbeat nature of the game.

Concept Art development
After finishing my first three quick concepts for my area, I decided to revisit them to create a more game-ified look, inspired by the work of Charley Harper and De'Von Stubblefield. I believe this look is more suited to the animations I intend on using them for in my iPhone game.
